This years competition was one of the closest with friends Ernie McKay Jnr (Aberdeen) and Stuart Crockett (Inverbervie) fighting to the bitter end for 1st position.  After the competition both juniors had 15 fish  weighing 29lb 13 each.  A fish off was declared and both boys tried hard to catch the allusive 1st fish.  After a while both juniors headed to the bait pond and 1st fish on the bank would win the competition.  Stuart caught 1st and tried hard to reel it in but then Ernie caught a fish and pulled in onto the bank to become the champion.

Ryan Bonner - Ellon - caught a cracking  9lb rainbow - his biggest yet. Well done Ryan you show Grandpa and Dad how it's done !!!!!
